"Women Equality, to me, is the ability of every woman to do what she wants without fear of being denied her goals and dreams, without questioning if what she wants is valid."
These barriers need to be broken. Encouraging the youth of their capabilities is a giant step forward. Each generation has the chance to shape the future, an opportunity to break through the box that confines women, the box we put ourselves in unknowingly because society "says so."
Women Equality, to me, is the ability of every woman to do what she wants without fear of being denied her goals and dreams, without questioning if what she wants is valid. She shouldn't shy away from something because it is "a male thing." There is room at the table for everyone, we can share the bounty together. Encourage the youth, encourage yourself and women around you, give them confidence and they will have the power to do anything, they will be unstoppable.” - Michelle
"Women empowerment is letting your voices be heard and embracing what we are feeling, regardless if you are male or female."
“Women equality to me is, every woman deserves an equal chance to be the best person they can because they are accepted the way that they are. Whether that is the best mother, best version of themselves, the best sister, friend, colleague, artist, activist, etc.
Every woman should get the same opportunity to embrace being a woman all around the world.
It needs to be seen and observed by all walks of life, not just men, or just women. We are too quick to judge each other, and if we all observe Women Equality we would start seeing a world of “equality attitude” as well." - Kathryn@mermaid_kathryn

“Women equality is everything to me. It goes so much deeper than just treating the pretty ones fair. I was raised to believe that it isn’t our skin that defines our beauty but our ability to love others.
Women's equality is about protecting women in adversity. Those who are shamed for being who they are, or not treated equally.
It’s not about just compliments anymore but speaking up during the times it’s not easy for women. For the pure sake of women and for the sake of living in a society where we can all be treated equally and live freely” - Ally @allymarii
“Women equality to me is knowing you have a strong mind, body, and soul.
Gender shouldn’t matter or stop you from believing in yourself. Women's equality to me is knowing you have a strong mind, body, and soul. The majority of my swim workouts, in particular, are with men and don’t try to categorize anything or make exceptions for myself just because I’m a girl. I feel training with others just makes you better and stronger. Surround yourself with positive people and know you are worthy, special, and strong!” - Lexie @lexiekellyswim
Femininity is a gift, but it also comes with a lot of challenges even in the modern world. Madison Ashley believes that men and women (and sea creatures) should have equal rights and opportunities without being stereotyped by our gender. Let's all strive for equality - for women and all the beautiful creatures in the world!
